Back on track.

I only got to play half a round last night on Karkand which was 6v6. It was a good round and some good scores were gained.

When it switched to Sharqui then one or two left and then more people left leaving it 3v3 and that map needs at least a 10v10 to make it any good.

I wouldn't get say last night was a complete wash out because by the sounds of it the INF action had been good and the server has been quieter than normal for the last week now anyway.

I've never played on a 16 man server other than in matches and not sure what would happen in regards to attracting public players but is it a realistic option to us to try and get good games going and then open to 32 man afterwards?

There were a few people asking why it was infantry but to be fair it was goin quite well, I think with more propmotion it will become more popular.
We need scrolling msgs and somin on the startup screen to promote it Im sure it will get busier!
I prefered it last for a change it was gd fun, although my side were not as team orientated I still enjoyed butchering Moosey!!!
Def feel if promoted this would take of, once people see its an infantry server will get a lot of player comin on Very Happy

Yeah, I think with a bit of time and promotion the infantry only nights will be very popular. Last night was a nice change, the server didn't fill up but as 27 said, the server has been a bit quieter this week. It wasn't a case of it filling up and then people going when they realised that it was infantry only, the server just didn't get many people joining it last night.

Its worth promoting our server on other popular bf2 forums such as bf2s and totalbf2 but I'm not sure on who's job it is and can anyone take it up to do it?

I'll do it but will require full details to post for eg

Map sizes, Rotation, What nights INF, Server Address etc.

i had no idea we were having an inf night last night or i would've come on. have to have the odd night off now due to mrs moaning at me, so had last night off. DOH!!! wont be able to make tomorrow either Sad
