There is a statistically significant relationship between the number of pirates in the world and the average temperature of the earth. i.e., the lack of pirates is causing global warming.
Skeptics say it's not good science to assume a causal relationship, but it's common in research.
I leave the judgements to you, the new pioneers of pirating... enjoying yourself and saving the planet perhaps
