Apoligies!

Hey Guys / Gals

Just wanted to post a quick apoligy for my grumpyness and my rapid departure last night.
Im getting so frustrated with the lag im getting its making my game play so annoying.

Didnt help that everyone moved to the same side last night, but thats a bygone.

I really hope this lag doesnt persist i may loose interest alltogether Crying or Very sad

Anyway once again my apoligies if i was sharp, nothing personal guys Very Happy

What is the issue with lag on the server at the moment? it would help if everyone posted then we can get an idea of the bigger picture etc.
I personally havnt noticed lag myself but I dont play enough maybe to notice it.

....i got to be honest i didnt enjoy last nite one single bit

i havent had any lag tho....ive been on worst servers

and it would be nice if we could get the same support for the server the rest of the week as we do for I/O night....

it just wasnt a very good game....i play I/o now and again but its just not my thing really..

me and couple of others have been struggling to keep server goin at night the past 2 weeks or so and when comes to I/O night members turn up..... its abit annoying tbh

Hopefully not dying as much and with Homie having lag issues maybe he could end up on my list. Wink

I have been there with you in the past Nypmh and I know it is a real pain in the ass getting the server going. Sad

Hopefully, it will turn around, but the Infantry only servers seem to be full all the time, so I think that is why it fills up quickly.

I know I regularly get pissed off, when you constantly get owned by the jest and helicopters. When that happens it just aint fun.

But Ill see you guys next week and hopefully settle some scores.

I was getting frustrated due to lag last night thus getting annoyed but as we do seem to be filling the I/O server may I make a few sugesstions.

I dont think think we will have a problem filling this server as it is already extreamly popular but what I would like to possibly suggest is a restriction on members from other clans while the I/O server is on.

I noticed at one point last night that there were 8 members of one clan on the server and all they were using it for was an oportunity to practise as a squad. I thought it was designed so that we had the opportunity as a clan to practise squading up. If we ever came up against this clan in a squad match they would know exactly how to play us! Plus until we work well as a unit this squad owned everyone. There seem to be a multitude of clans doing this.

As a unit we should learn ourselves working together against the public, not give the opportunity for others to practise. I just think if we restrict it to 2 members from other clans on the server, it gives our clan to practise as a unit.

I also think you should add certain rules to the server while I/O is on like no clays on flags.

But as I said it wrnt for this reason I left it was more lag related and Iv never suffered from it before just the last month or so, it rarely happens on other servers either. It tends to happen during the busy times. Very Happy

Yeah, that clan were a pita, blooming noobtubing everything in sight. Tbh, after they had been on for a while, the server started emptying, I think everyone was getting frustrated with it.

I admit it! I popped on briefly last night but it's been sooooooooo long since I played BF2 I couldn't remember how to play it properly. Embarassed

Also it seemed really dated and slowwwww. After witnessing and falling victim to the already mentioned bunny tubers I decided to run off to the safety of my living room and cry like a girl.

Obviously being the quiet and shy guy that I am I failed to say Hi in TS for the 5 minutes I was on Wink

Homie mate, you have no reason to say sorry, none at all. I let not long after yourself and Geordie last night approx 1-2 hours shorter than planned. Bf2 is an escape to me, gets me away from the stresses of real life and if I dont enjoy that precious time I will go do something else in last nights case I just sat and sulked whilst licking my wounds.

I have had to cut right back on my BF2 time to try and save things at home, looks like I have but that dosen't mean I can come back to 4/5 nights a week. I was on all last Fri and Sat as the Mrs was away, if I'm on tonight it means I won't be on tomorrow.

I didnt enjoy last night as the lot that were on just reminded me of a clanbase bunch and the kills just seemed dodgy, too dodgy for my liking, I'm not accusing them of cheating, very rarely do I do that in all my 1700hrs of gaming time.

I swicthed teams with 2 other members to try and even things up so that all |2es were on the same time during Mashtuur so that we could give this bunch a game and for a time being it worked.

It wouldn't of been so lobbed sided if they didnt have a commander, maybe think about making Jalalalala a 16 man map, so no Outpost, Fountain and Usa Uncap (this means though that usa can be capped out)

I believe having VOIP enabled could make a differnce to us in trying to attract public players to become reglars, we have a few already but maybe gain more but that would mean having to watch our language on TS (my Ts button would be same as voip button). I do understand though how this can cause more lag?

I was in the frame of mind to suggest that changing the server name so that we appear more towards the top than bottom but if I remember how I found us I searched "UK" so maybe that won't help.

I do agree with the lag issue though even when its for eg 7v7 it can be very laggy and if I remember I used to play on populated 64 man servers with less lag and a shittier pc.

I totally agree with u on the lag issue as it is really starting to annoy me now and it only seems to happen on mp servers! I dont need to tell you what I think about mp but I really do think we should look at making some changes to see if that helps.One change we deffo should have is that if we are having an IO night it needs to be changed in the searchs as otherwise how would people know where doing it? Anyways plz leave feedback and some ideas how we could rectify these probs.

It is changed in the searches when the Profile is changed Confused
