Just bought a G7 and i'm not too impressed. Don't get me wrong it is fantastic but i realy don't think its £60 fantastic. So unless money is no object i would go for a cheaper one like the G5 which has the same dpi and is only £45 (http://www.cclonline.com/product-categories.asp?category_id=305)
I'm also thinking of getting the G15 keyboard if anyone has any opinions they would be appreciated. |

I accidentally bought a us-standard keyboard off eBay last year to replace a broken keyboard so had to buy another and opted for a cheap-o one with no special function keys or funny features. Cost about £5 and does the job excellently.
It even has three buttons for turning off the computer right above the cursor keys just incase you want to turn the computer off while flying a jet/heli in bf! |

Hi Beedy,
I bought the Z-board last summer and I've had nothing but problems with it. It simply stops working at the most annoying times. I thought it was a software problem but I installed it without the software and it still crashed.
So the base unit, the standard keyset, the games keyset, the BF2 keyset and the Doom 3 keyset are now all languishing in the sideboard.
Anyone want a Z-Board and 4 keysets

I use the zboard and have done now for at least a year or so, had no problems so far, touch wood, dont really use the game key set much as find it a bit cramped.
But one thing it has done for me is learn me to play with the aswd keys for the past 9 yrs of online gamin i have always used the cursor keys.
Zborad hasnt had one software update since i have had the keyboard, get plenty of updates for the gamin keysets, as new games come out tho |

I bought a logitech Mx510 mouse recently, I found it very good. Many configurable buttons and precise. Only problem with it - the mouse logitech software crashes when closing it and an error message appears. But rarely do I need it, so no problem.

I bought the same mouse just a few weeks ago, i bought the cabled version as i dont trust wireless one.
No problems with it whatsoever, so far i have only programmed on of the buttons and that is for BF2...prone.
Still looking to see what the other buttons are worthy of being assigned to, otherwise very good mouse indeed |

Got my G15 today thanks for all the info (mainly bigging up the zboard).
Very happy with the G15 so far its probably not an ideal fps gaming keyboard but it is of a high build quality and is absolutley amazing for my second favourite game 'Rome total war' and it works well with TS showing who is talking in the LCD display.
Highly recomended A*** (much better that my MS wireless desktop) |
