Download ISO?

I've given up trying to find my BF2 disk, i did though find the case with serial number.

Do you think i could get away with a downloaded ISO (effectively as a backup as i own the game legit anyway) and use the legit code and a No-cd/daemon tools or whatever to bypass need for the physical disk?

Wondering if Punkbuster will have an issue with the nocd crack or mounted image?

Burn the ISO to a disk, no need for additional software eating away at your resources then. I did this myself when my BF2 disk stopped working

I dont think theres any way to tell mate I'm afraid. If you can get a mounted image to work without a crack, your chances of getting past pb would be so much higher though. I'd imagine cracks are something pb would pick up on easily

I use to use an image of bf2 all the time rather then using the cd, punkbuster never had any issues with it, aslong as none of the main files are being altered i don't see why punk buster would have any issues.

Having diemon tools is totally safe and will work fine, as for the ISO of the game hmm Confused

be carefull you have no idea what your downloading and as a warning if punkbuster bans you your days in |2es- will be over.

Hi,
If you have Special Forces you can use that , its what I use after breaking my 2nd bf2 disc I downloaded an ISO and used my legitamate cd key, and just leave SF in the cd drive!

Nah i hhave the Deluxe Edition one that came with Special Forces included on the same disk.

I could get Euro Force or Armored Fury i guess but cant be bothered to pay out any more tbh.

Ooh ooh.. found the disk while digging out BF2142 (could have swore i checked there already lol)..

Dont seem to be able to retrieve my old account for some reason but having checked BF2 stats i am only like 2nd rank so i might just make a new one with a slightly different name.
