I thinks Gerrard is wasted out wide, just tucked in behind a striker/strikers is where I'd have him. |
He isnt wasted there at all, his best season was on the right of a 442. Gerrard can only play in the middle in 442 when the other CM is Maascherano or the opposition is rubbish. He doesn't have the self discipline to play there whenever there is going to be lots of defensive work to do, thats why he playesd a season mainly on the right and its a reason reason Crouch doesnt get a game there is no room for him with Gerrard in the middle. |
