keyboard wasd help

after a little talk and help from starsky the other evening I need to work on my keyboard skills to move sideways etc , I find it very hard to work all the right keys , so was wondering how every one else does it and what fingers they use ( yes brune i now your answer allready m8 Laughing

)

Middle finger "w", little finger is usually hovering around SHift/Ctrl, finger between middle and little is on "A"

Thumb is on Space and the finger between middle and thumb is on "D"

Mouse hand has thumb on side button for melee and middle finger is on mouse wheel which for me is my TS button.

Comfortable for me, exception being nades. Default for nades is the mouse wheel but for years i have used the wheel for TS so i switched nades to just "G" and not on the mouse, makes me a little slow responding to the hot potato invitation you get for an uncooked nade.

Ok BBF, using my crusty work keyboard as an example...

Working my digits from left to right..

Main uses.

Little pinky finger - takes care of ctrl and shift
Ring Finger - A and Q
Lov'in Finger - W & S
Pokey Finger - E & D & F & C (Half time nose pick)
Hitch hiker - spacebar

Mouse1 - shoot
Mouse2 - zoom
Middle Mouse - Grenade
Mouse 4 - knife
Mouse 5 - Special grenade

well i will give it go not sure my poor old fingers will take it as the jints are bit knacked due to riding motocross and enduros when younger so if you see me tonite doing some funny things (more than normal) you will now what it is Laughing

I use the same as the guys with my left hand ( cough )
oh, and Kop, I use my Alt button next to space for my TS - so i cant jump and talk as they both done by thumb.

I'm playing with my mouse settings having just bought a mouse with more buttons... I use scroll for melee and button 4 to change weapons.
cant seem to use the little button by thumb, or the button on the right side of the mouse ... my hand doesnt work that way.....

I used to use a mouse button for TS, but now have it randomly set as "L", going to try out Alt though.

tried to operate keyboard as whats been suggested above and my old fatigued fingers just wont allow me to do it so I had to go back to my hamfisted way , its not as quick or as accurate but it seems to work just

Got my lovely Zboard for fps games, i never leave home without it lol. came with me on the airplane to Canada Very Happy

an old post, but thought i would post HI Laughing

also that i use a Zboard although i use it on the default (qwerty) keyboard and use the arrow keys to play Cool

and a mixture of the page up keyblock and numpad.
