Grim, doesn't matter who you go with nowadays, they all seem to have shit customer service lol.

Some companies are better in different places, i was with BT, never had any issues, but some people find them crap, i was with UKOnline, didn't have any issues but i'm sure someone has.

Just remember when you cancel to tell Virgin to remove ALL of their equipment from the line otherwise you'll have issues with the next ISP you choose.

But I will never say or recommend

Do you pay the bill in your house Grim. I'm only asking because I know you still live at home with your mum Laughing . I am with BT and have been impressed with their levels of service. You get a router, internet phone, norton anti virus and firewall, BT Yahoo email account and homepage which i both really like. I particularly enjoy talking to Indian people and find them to be kind, generous with their time and very tasty with a bit of mango chutney.

If your exchange has been unbundled, I went with O2. Up to 8meg for only £7.50 per month if you are already an O2 customer.

Not too shabby. From easynews using a download manager I get roughly 700-800kb/s.

Also no download limits Very Happy

Bought this. No idea if it makes a difference as I was previously on cable.

I was going to recommend Virgin Very Happy

Ive had no probs with Virgin thankfully,i wouldnt go back with BT due to the crap bandwidth you receive - im sure they use vines from the congo instead if cable!

Just threaten to leave Virgin and they should bend of backwards for you.
