End of an Era

Unfortunatly gents/ and ladies, i regret to inform that my days of gaming are numbered and I will be departing the clan.

My work commitments have limited me to few hrs of gaming and unfortuntly I have now even less time to play.
I like to think at some point I will return to gaming and a new found enthusiasm unleashed but at the minute I really am short on time.

I will endevour whenever I can to come an support the server and hopefully play with some very good mates.

I am really sad to be moving on and my genuine support for the clan will always be there. I really do hope il find time again as |2es has held a special place over the last few years.

I know I aint been on BF2 for a while due to other commitments Crying or Very sad

Surprised you passed the test first time but good luck for the future. Maybe after 2 years you will promoted and possess the mark 2 road barrow and brush. Wink

On a serious note, I am sad to see you go and will deffo miss the banter.

Anytime your in Liverpool give us a shout and we'll meet up for a beer you can stay at ours not a prob.

Hi Geordie,

I hardly play much any more. Started off with Mrs 27 having a nag so I cut down. My gaming time then becomes more precious to me and I have to get the most out of it so the few occassions I get to play I look for populated servers (I'm usually on Jolt City Maps). However, the last time I played (properly, ie more than half an hour) was on our server a fortnight ago after Nymph had arranged a BF2 night. I keep getting or was getting the connection problems that I thought only I was getting but everyone seems to get them and that been another reason I haven't been on.

I always look to our server first if I'm coming on but its always a few vs a few on Dalian or Daquin (or so it seems). I really miss how this place was this time last year, its why I joined Res. I 'd load up, join a side, join a squad and there would be a full team of us working together, the team side of Bf2 is one of the main attractions to me. I can't fly, can't gun, tend to waste armour so to me I look for working on the ground in a squad.

I haven't put my name down for any matches as I feel it's a cheek seeing as you don't see me on the server. I still wish Res all the very very best in matches.

I haven't played BF2 in over a week, if you told me I would do that in February this year I wouldn't of believed you but I know all too well nothing lasts forever.

Any of the following would be excellent, Res Server/BF2 takes off again, BF3 comes out and succeeds like BF2 did or I take the time to see what that BF Hero's is all about.

I was a bit blurry eyed recently but now the football season is over I get a little bit of time back but some of that will be lost back at football but working during the close season. Plenty of cricket and bbq'ing everynight keeps me busy along with my VBOX.

I miss Friday nights, full squads, cider, TS and late nights on BF2 with Res. I'm sure it will happen again but I might have to wait for the next BF game?

Yeah its great to here from you mate. I really wish it could get to being like that again as well cos we had some awesome times! It would even be great for u just to come on ts mate whilst you have a game on ours or another server just so we can stay in touch and dont think uve ran away lol.

I know what work getting in thte way and not having enough time in the week to play is like, so i understand fully dude.

A sad day indeed for the Res Clan you were and always will be part of the furniture dude take care and im sure we will see you back here one day.

I think everyone needs a game to get behind b4 we see the old days off bf2 and im guessing that will happen when bf3 gets made if it does get made even.
