Hello,
I have changed the way I use the controls in Age of Conan to make more of the tiles or icons available especially for during battles. I understand from |2es-Brune that you can download modified interfaces (interface is just the word used to describe how you have your screen set up) although I havent bothered with these.
On the left side I have opened two chat boxes by holding down the left mouse button on one of the tabs and dragging to another point on the screen to create the second chat or text box.
In the first box I have opened 3 channels "General" where all chat appears. "OOC" where non game specific chat is allowed and "Guild" where members of the |2esurrection guild can talk. The second box has "combat" where you keep a log of you and your opponents damage and also of nearby battles which is handy for detecting nearby enemies too (thanks to |2es-Brune again for this. Also have "Group" for squad based chat and "Say" into which you can type stuff that appears in a speech bubble above your player and this is good for drawing nearby peoples attention.
On the right side of the screen there are two columns of icons. I have enabled "enable additional hotbar 1" and "enable additional hotbar 2" in interface HUD (press escape or F10 to access). You can extend these bars by left clicking at the foot of the hotbar and dragging. You can also place the bars wherever you want and have them either vertical (up and down) or horizontal (left to right).
At the bottom of the screen where you can see 3 icons of bottles I have enabled "show extended hotbar" in interface basic.
You can also stop the game from automatically updating your icons with new ones you gain when you level up by selecting "never" next to the automatically update options in interface HUD.
Slaggy. |

I usually play on low graphic setting and only turned them to high for the screenshot. I will try AA but its probably a bridge too far for my PC. Thanks for the tip though Cyrus. |

You'd be better off keeping other stuff on low and having AA on higher, AA always seems to make even low graphics look better |
