ANY know of a multi player flying game

hey guys,

been woundering if there are any WW2 fight sims out there where you can join a multi player game and combat other people e.c.t

any info would be great

I have tried a few over the past but um a graphics whore and I have never seen anything come close to anything with the real factor! Crying or Very sad

The two main ones i think are microsofts combat flight sim 3 and IL2 Sturmovik. The later being the oldest of the two but I think its got a bigger community. I play normal flight sims now and again but never tried these combat ones out mate,so you might have to do a bit of research rather than take my word for it.

any of y'all remember Crimson Skies?

That was also mulitplayer and set in an alternative 1940's.

Old game now though, would be surpirsed if it still got folk playing on it, but it as a fantastic flying combat game none the less Smile

Crimson Skies was friggin great, i used to love playing that!

IL2 Sturmovik was pretty good too.

Nothing compares to F-18 Interceptor on the Amiga tho oh the memories!

It was quite good though, used to play against me dad on Lan.

i just would some sort of game where i can fly in a spitfire and shoot some one down and maybe even drop a bomb on the airbase ... pure dogfight no missiles Smile

Was on CD-ROM when i played it, but back in those days CD-ROM was what Blu-ray is today Shocked

You know, i've been trying to find a copy of Crimson Skies come to think of it.

Hey Apollo your right- a flying game just purely dogfighting, no feckin missiles, would be a great change from the usual.

Only thing im not to sure about is if it'll run on vista properly. Tried the demo and that was a no-no, but i guess it cant hurt to give it a try Smile
