Global Punkbuster ban.

Basically the Guid key has been associated with hacking or interfering with the normal operation of the PunkBuster software, thats something they seem very clear about, nothing is completely perfect and to track down the cheat who used it realistically I guess would not be possible.

I dont see this issue happening much and I would always rather have punkbuster than not, its not 100% by far but its something at least.

Thats pretty much what I said in my reply to them. They cant protect us from hackers so it's only legitimate users that lose out, the hackers will just move onto another stolen cdkey/guid.

I can see your point Mrix, and you'll never win by arguing with them but the fact remains that if Kop hasn't cheated, then he has been the victim of theft, and is going to cost him money to be able to play a game he should rightly be able to play.

I think these companies policing things online need to be able to better track and follow up these type of things, as like kop said the ones that lose out are teh ones that are paying for the games.

But because it's online people see that it's the norm and just one of those things.

EA has no way of telling who is sitting at Kops pc..whether its him or someone else, even if its a different ip

ive offered to help, ive searched for his game nick in the ban list and its not there so the ban must be with a different alias,if you give me your guid i can see what alias nams have been linked with the account.theres a chance you might be able to appeal the ban if your game and cd key are genuine

How do I get my GUID? Only way I know is through the console on a server but I can't log into any server to get it..

..edit, if it's the code in the ban message i am pm'ing it now.

Bah, i went afk straight after last post and wont be around a couple of days as taking the tribe to Alton Towers for a couple of days.
