Suggestion - Conquest/Rush Rotation

Hiya all

I was wondering whether it might be an idea to run a Conquest profile on the server 2 or 3 days a week? This will hopefully keep the game fresh and attract even more players. Maybe even rotate between Rush and Conquest on a daily rotation basis? Last thing I want is to get bored too early on!

Thoughts?

Cant say I am personally going to bet bored for a fair while yet! but at this point in time I agree, could be interesting trying some of the new maps that are only in conquest mode.

The response we get from members on these matters is never a big one so I have just added a profile which we can swap each day... basically lets see how we get on Wink

Having played conquest I cant really say its a gametype I like, Its certainly not a gametype that`s low player friendly Sad

so if you got just a few on to start the server its a tad boring Sad

Also as it not moving like the rush gametype I would imagine its camp city Shocked

Played conquest a little bit and still not sure - the proof will be in extensive "testing" Wink

The games I have played turned into a bit of a merry go round tbh but i'm sure it will be fun anyway.

But I guess its all personal preference and if the server remains as busy as it has been all should be fine Cool

I found conquest interesting purely down to the fact that it was new maps. The mechanic is the same as it has ever been. I personally prefer rush mode over conquest however conquest is still fun!

What about having conquest for two days a week or something and add the details when this would happen on the server loading screen?

Either as long as i can try and kill.... a mixture would be nice, a change is good as a rest. Smile

Had a blast on conquest last night, some of the maps are awesome and lead to some nice skirmishing and tank battles. On the downside the server was not as busy so it will be interesting to see how the server fairs next time conquest is on rotation. The only big problem is spawn camping but as long as an admin is online this will not be a problem *cough*kick*cough*

am i right in thinking conquest is like the old bf2 system? where you have to capture all the flag points? new maps are always nice, but i'm enjoying things as they are, so have no real preference as yet. just good to have a game we're all playing. have'nt found a map i dont like yet. the desert ones are ace i think, good tank battles then good street battling.

Aye m8 same deal on a smaller scale. The conquest maps are great and in some cases awesome ---> Panama Canal and Atacama Desert Smile
