XBOX 360 woes

Calling all RES members with a XBOX 360 - are yours noisy as buggery?

Compared to my PC and old PlayStation 2 the actual system on start up is loud (fans I guess) and the DVD drive sounds like a hoover or something ..... is that usual.

The image quality is cracking, don't get me wrong, but the noise is ridiculous as I use it for a DVD player as well and the controller is way too chunky.

Anyone wanna buy it with a copy of NFSMW?

Diasappointed, going to build a Pentium M based small form factor PC instead 'cos I can also play BF2 on the 27" HD ready LCD TV and it's easier to network (plus no £40 a year just to play online).

Mine doesn't seem that noisey? :S i dunno a few people have had problems with their 360's. U got a premium or a core?? what problems u having with networking? if ur trying to do wireless u need the new wireless adapter that just came out for it. Oh and how much are u selling it for m8? lemme know Razz

and if its a Core or Premium, cos core's suck lol

Actually i guess u have a Core cos i got a nice lil dvd remote with my Premium when i got it? or maybe u got the 2nd batch of premiums that didnt have the lil remote control?

Premium System m8 with remote and hard drive, it's about 2 months old but as I think it's noisy TBH I would probably not feel happy selling to a clan member in case it goes belly up?

BUT if you do want it, I paid £285 plus £45 for the game so looking for about £250 which is what they go for on eBay .....

i think the fan noise is pretty normal tbh - mine is certainly what i would class a above acceptable noise levels but because i've hooked it up to ma 5.1 speakers, i dont hear it. lovin the 360 here - waiting for more titles to hit the shelves tho.

goodluck with selling it, shouldnt have any probs cos they're in such high demand right now. It's a shame tho cos i wanted to play GR3 and BF2:MC against ya Razz

Yea sorry cyrus would be good but I just cannot do FPS on consoles ..... you still doing NFSMW on PC?
