Just got back from a VIP escort exercise where I played the part of the Prime Minister (his Tonyness as Jeremy Clarkson calls him) riding in the back of a plain black Volvo being escorted by a liveried car in front, another behind and six motorcyclists leapfrogging each other to keep the route open and clear. I can't really descibe the feeling as these Honda Pan-Am's flew past time and time again as my car just smmothly carried on its way Razz

. The best bit was on the M6 and the M62 - only up to 85mph but 16 feet from the lead car, with the bikes covering the next half to three quarters of a mile ahead in lane 3. Cool

The worst thing? Travelling through town centres with pedestrians and other motorists staring in to see who this high-powered person was. I felt really uncomfortable - as if I was naked in a convertable. Shocked

Come down to earth tomorrow where I play the part of a Category A prisoner Evil or Very Mad

on an armed run from HMP Strangeways to Manchester Crown Court. I'll be in a minibus (can't borrow the ballistic-proofed prison van) with 4 fully armed firearms officers in with me. I don't think I'll be asking to have a go with their Hechler & Koch Wink

is there any way you can get a high res photo of a Heckler & Gloch? I'm really interested in that family of guns, especialy the E and K-Type
