hi guys need some assistance. i have 2 pc s on a network using a gateway router with a 4 meg internet connection. is it possible to limit the bandwidth usage on the pc like 75 % on pc 1 and 25% on pc 2. any help appreciated guys. |

limit what exactly?(ftp/htp? web/msn etc doesn't get limited)
traffic shaping is evil
if one pc was using only a wee bit of the connection would you really want the othe pc not to be able to use the rest if it could? |

limit it like my lodger keeps using all my bandwidth when im on bf2 downloading loads of crap
or should i just pull the plug

I've had to share the connection with flatmates over last 3years
usually it comes down to disconnecting
p2p will always kill a dsl connection though so its hard to keep tied down unless you're on good terms
plus its not really the download speed, but the upload that gives you lag when playing online games.
usually what I say is that when everyone is out of the flat the connection is free for anyone to use as they want, but during the evening when people are at the PCs then theres to be no sustained upload like p2p etc |

that knife looks awesome, it would be goo dif you could actually had modified knives like say, you can switch from throwing knifes to stabbing that would be great  |
