guys n gals,
dont under any circunstances buy this card for playing bf2. after weekes of getting randomly disconnected from servers, i have isolated it to this gfx card.
sometimes it runs fine but othertimes it doesn't. save yourselves alot of frustration and stick to nvidia - the only card the game officially supports.
the x1900xtx is an excellent card but just not for bf2. i now have one for sale...

Cyrus uses ATi dont think hes had any probs, and how much is the card going for!! |

since the patch i have experienced choppy play(no dissconnects tho exept thru my crappy isp)but it does get bad sometimes 
i run a ati card as well tho it is a bit dated...but it was fine before the patch  |

Yup since the recent patches BF2 for ATI card owners sucks, plus WoW has taken over lol  eh i dunno. |

I run ATI and the game runs smoother than a smooth thing thats been smoothed down and greased. The fact that I added another 1gb of memory probably helped. But even so I noticed that after the 1.22 patch yesterday that the vehicles drive faster, smoother and easier to control than before |

maybe 1.22 has helped - ill play some tonight but i got a 7900 GTX inc anyway so will be changing regardless - any offers for the x1900 xtx (sapphire 6 weeks old)  |
