I think there may be a dodgy email going round regarding credit card expiry dates on PayPal accounts
i queried the one i just received from PayPal and they told me it didn't originate from them
if you get one send it to spoof@paypal.com
you probably should check your credit card details but i wouldn't enter or change any info on the site
it may be a false alarm but you never know |

I get loads of these type of emails all the time saying that someone has been added to my paypal account and loads of other paypal type spoofs, I would tell people to just delete then and dont click on any of the links If you think one may be genuine just login into your paypal account the normal way and find out there but I have found 10 out of 10 they are all spoof emails.
Cheers

I get loads of these on one of my used for dodgysites email accounts.
Also some from banks, ebay ect.
Main rule is delete ignore, if your not 100% go to main site Not from any given link and check there.
All companies I have spoken to always state they would not contact you asking for any private details. |

If you hover the mouse over the link they say will take you to your ebay/paypal/bank login site you will see it comes from a dodgy site like http;//185.45.67.112/login.paypal.com even though the text you see in the email looks like a link to www.paypal.com
So like mrix and drewcat said - delete it and then manually go to paypal / ebay and check your account. |

I can send a whole load of links if people want info on reducing their spam / phishing emails that they get.
Be aware that you need to do a bit of work and wait a couple of months before you see any visible reduction.
Whilst I am about it, did you know that they predict that the most intelligent bits of software with limited AI, learning abilities, and bayesian modelling (wake up you lot!), will be spamming software and anti-spamming software. Perhaps we should put them in a room together and let the software fight it out and not bother us with the damn email until afterwards.

Great site to start with
