How long for PMs to clear Outbox?

I've written a couple of responses (this morning) to a PM I received on Thursday but they are still in my Outbox and have not moved to Sent Items.

How long does this usually take?

Ah okay. So unlike emails the PM stays in the outbox until downloaded by the recipient (presumably when they go to their messages page) and then the message moves to the Sent Items folder.

Well, in that case I guess I dont appear too rude! Wink
