Hey, the is Mercenary just wanting to know a little more about this clan. I'm currently looking for a clan to join so i'm hitting up alot of clans looking for the one that best suits me. I have some Questions as far as this clan goes though.
1. How many members are usually on TS at one time
2. Do you have some sort of ranking system?
3. Are you or some of your members willing to help with skill development?
4. Would you or most of your clan mates be willing to have an interclan scrim on a map downloaded from the internet? or one i myself create or design? |

I think by ranking he means do we seperate by skill/ability
during matches we place our members into set roles dictated by their SquadLeader (I am one myself, there are arround 4 other, though usually there are are only 2 per match)
once in a role people are expect to perform a set of basic guidlines/tactics but outside that gameplay is fluid and everyone usually has alot of fun
basically you can take it as far as you want, whether just to chat while playing bf2 or actively participate in tactical development of squads |

Sounds fun, when in ranking i enjoy following orders and being told what to do, even if i have to sit at suburbs with a sniper on strike at karkland. But i do have fair knowlege of infantry tactics, such as when i cross a street and leave cover i exspect a teamate to cover me while doing so, then i cover him whilst he moves to my position. I also find that suppressive fire tactices work nicley if you have a squad that is smart enouph to flank them while you unload on them.
About the custom maps, i have a few that i have designed with lots of strategic positions and what not. I found that the regular maps in BF2 do not depict situations you may encounter, like on strike at karkland. Last time i checked a small town didnt have 2 lane highways and HUGE roads. I develope maps that are challenging because they are based on real life areas in my own town. This means that the roads are narrow and a tank absoultly needs infantry to help them or else it would be too easy for a spec ops to plant a few "presents" when your not looking. Anyways, I am heavy on being serious during squad play, but i also like haveing fun.
On armored fury, we all need to grab a civiliian car and do a few races. |
