Is that the Cyberpower system m8 you're looking at?

Don't bother with 7600GS in SLi it's not worth the bother - go for a single, better vid card like the 7600GT minimum, 7900GT best deal, the X2 3800 is a good chip but I'd go for the X2 4200; and double the RAM to 2GB

custom build it mate! thats what i have always done, its the only way to get the best of everything you want! for £1000 you can get an absolute monster for gaming etc.

The Core 2 Duos are the best CPU at the mo, and i would stick to a 7900GT for graphics, you can pick them up around £250. Make sure if you do custom build that you get a decent brand power supply, and plenty of cooling in the case.

have a look at www.scan.co.uk and www.overclockers.co.uk and see what you can afford!!

The only way you get your money back on a Mesh or whatever pre-built system is on the screen and operating system! But if you already have a screen you are happy with and you can get hold of windows then you dont need that!

Plus buy Custom PC mag, that will point you in the right direction!

LT!

might i suggest you also have a look on www.dabs.co.uk and www.aria.co.uk

dabs has some of the cheapest stuff around and they tend it get stuff shipping out stupidly quick. They also have THE best search filters on thier products.

aria is quite pricey on some things, but on the home page on the right side there is a 'Build your own pc' button. Press that and it'll take you through a list of equipment sorted by category.

Happy shopping Smile

Dabs is cheap cause on such things as gfx cards they take out the nvidia ram and replace it with their own cheap crap ram so its no way as fast and will break soon lol trust me on this front
