Connection problem

Hi again:)

I've got a problem: when i start bf2142, I come to the sign in place, witch works normaly, but when i select my solider, it just says "connecting to the EA Master server" for ever!! when i press ctrl + alt + del, it says that the BF2142 is not responding! Anny help would be great, thx

Maybe your firewall settings are blocking the port which is used to connect to the EA server. You could always try disabling your firewall for a few moments and see if youre able to connect that would eliminate this as a possible cause.

I had a BIG issue with alll my ea games recently were i couldnt connect to anything ea not even the website i tried everything opening ports and whatnot but nothing made any change in the end i reinstalled and it fixed it for me.

When he says he reinstalled he doesn't just mean 2142, he means the whole of vista unfortunately :S

Make sure that in Windows Firewall, via the Control Panel, BF2142 is allowed through the firewall- ticked as an exception.
