I have a hardware question. I am playing using the regular Kensington mouse and feel like there is a delay between my left click and when the attack is executed (usually few seconds but sometimes I have to click twice or three times before my grenade is flying away).
Does anyone have suggestions what mouse to use? There are plenty of gaming mice on the market but I am not sure which is the best for BF2142... which will give me an unfair advantage
Any suggestions? |

I recently upgraded from a G7 to a G9 Logitech mouse, gotta say i couldn't go back to anything else. the accuracy is amazing, you can change the weight of the mouse, the mouse even has 2 different skins, and best of all, it's NOT wireless which means no stuttering at all anymore for me |

Thank you Cyrus. Although I have to tell you, the idea of changing the weight is not completely clear to me (nor the benefits of such adjustment). What exactly does that achieve when you play the game? |

The weight is just a way of ajusting it to what you like some like there mouse heavy and requiring abit more efort to move some like it very light and very easy to move .g9 gives you choice plus as cyrus said you get 2 grips one small rough grip one smooth comfy grip. |

I'm using a cheap (for a gaming mouse) Logitech MX518. Always used logitech and never had an issue with them.
You will find a good mouse is prehaps one of the most important bits of kit you can have for gaming. Once you try one out you will wonder how you ever managed before.
As to specific ones, it's down to taste and budget. How much do you want to spend? |

Aye i would say Logitech all the way. I reverted back to my old MX510, as the razer mouse I bought was only suitable if you had a Jeremy Beadle (RIP) hand! |

You should try another mouse with your game before you buy one. I have a glitch with BF2 where I cannot throw grenades straightaway and sometimes even throw two at a time in different directions although only one goes off. I prefer a cordless mouse and have an MX Revolution by Logitech. Altering the sensitivity settings in the game is the best way to get the most from your mouse. Set it too high and you get juddering too low and you cant respond quick enough. |
