The VGA awards are done now and the GOTY winner was ........... SKYRIM
It was a very close one for me between Skyrim, Uncharted and zelda all deserved to win. Batman and portal 2 were nominated but i didnt feel were in the same league as the other 3.I kind of expected for Skyrim to win this one and as much as i loved uncharted 3 and skyward sword, the sheer ammount of time i spent on skyrim is testement to the crazy ammount of content and enjoyment i got out of it so i cant realy say it didnt deserve to win.
Uncharted 3 won best graphics and ofcourse best PS3 game .despite its console home having played it to platinum i felt it was superior in many ways graphically even to battlefield 3.
Batman did win best action adventure and funnily enough beat gears of war 3 for best xbox game lols, if that doesnt show how shit the xbox exclusives are now i dont know what will. When the only decent exclusive they have left loses to a multi platform game.  .
On to the future though and Mass effect 3 won the most anticipated game of 2012 im sure by miles. Myself i cant w8 for this i would be suprised if it doesnt win GOTY 2012 the first 2 have set up the ultimate finaly to a trilogy.

meh means nothing to me realy gaming awards are bought for by the highest bidder sell more units of that game imo for instance call of duty 3 as the best shooter when another website did an audience poll on single player multilayer and something else out of mw3 and bf3 and bf3 won hands down
nah sorry but i call shenanigans on that one and if that ones doubtful they all are....
bit like the Russians recent rigged election... |

Biggest unsurprise of the year? 
Skyrim deserved it ofcourse, any game which lets you decide what to do next and do it very well deserves every award in the book. We need more games like Skyrim, Risen etc.  |

Well this is the most known gaming award and the one everyone thinks of. Ofcourse Cod beating BF3 in any category is nonsense but then sooo many people love cod that it was going to happen. We see Portal 2 claiming alot of awards inluding best male and female voice actors and best mutiplayer thats anythign but rigged.
Skyrim deserved this year easily. I couldnt rightly say any other game deserved to beat it when most of those games all combined was less than a third as much playtime as many of us put into skyrim. Most of the awards were reasonable choices .
Overall the awards were very fare indeed and were given to a large selection of deserving games. We will no doubt be seeing other less known GOTY awards giving games like call of duty GOTY but we all know thats stupid. |

i was not meaning that skyrim does not deserve as i havent realy played it i was just saying that you have to be careful when these things comes out to take it with a pinch of salt .... |

Skyrim is awesome i loved it like triple cunted hooker! and its not even my kind of game and i hates obvliion. COD beats Bf3 for one reason only.. its american and bf is european.. americans dont buy battlefield as much .. and good frankly |
