it says mine is 135 but on the joinserver page were you click on the server it says 66 thats with everything turned of including explorer and messenger

Well geordie said my ping was very high when i went on COD4 ??? trouble is I havent got a clue what that is or what I can do o lower it ??what is a good number

Hi alonso yep agree avast s very good but will need a good firewall as well , one which will run well with vista and wont cause any hassle

every thing seems to be running fine to me but been advised games will run better with all unnessary programmes stopped makes the game run better and faster ??? also running vista that helps

Ive been informed its best to turn unwanted programmes off that are not needed while gaming , including my firewall and antivirus , is this correct? also hat other programmes do I look for which can be switched off and where do I look and do it Cheers Dave PS im running norton 2007 security suite , ...

all on order but will have to wait for the card to come in , they say they have 2 comong in tomorrow but those could allready be taken and the missus is picking COD4 up for me tomorrow
