People will always find something they like about the one they use, which will make them pretty biased, most people just prefer simple stuff that appears to do it's job.

I do find some of the posts quite amusing to read tho.

I have experimented with a lot of different virus scanners over the years free and paid for.
It's interesting to know which ones use the most memory, provide the least false positives, do the quickest scans, and actually do their jobs without requiring another program to clean up the stuff they miss.

I do believe everyone should run a decent malware program tho.
Malwarebytes has saved many computers I've had to fix over the years, including that nasty program that hijacks your computer, trying to trick you into purchasing a fake anti-virus program.
Most people can't remove it without doing a format.

Any virus scanner is better than having No virus scanner at all.

I won't tell you what I'm using now, but I have used all the programs mentioned here, plus a few others. :)
