Just got TF2
Hi guys,
I finally got round to getting the Orange box and currently getting into the legend that is Half Life 2 - having never experienced it before.
As you guys know, TF2 is in the box too, so thought I would try it.
I've only had a quick hour on it, but it seemed to be a mad rush to get killed, couldn't find any kind of co-ordination.
I'm sure that this was just me going on either a server of ADHD teenagers, or experts playing a deep and strategic game far beyond my ability.
So, is there a recommended server that you guys use that I can get to grips with the game on? It would be nice to have an alternative when COD4 has blown my brains out one to many times.
Cheers.

Best bet is to jump on with a few of yus at some point. Not played for a while but i'm always up for a bit of TF2, i'm sure Darf will be up for it and Brune too, maybe a couple others?
It certainly does feel like mayhem generally but as with most games, if your on TS with others it becomes far more involved.

I am up for some TF2 is everyones Steam ID the same as user names on here? mine is!
Bedlam I have a tip for you, if you really want some online fun before the missis goes to bed - tell her yer feelin randy...usually this means she suddenly has a major headache (when I mean major I mean the US satellite office will come up with a name for it like Dean or Katrina or Feckoff) or she will suddenly come over all fatigued and go to bed early... Leaving you to merrily get online.
I have now perfected this to a fine art - when I get home from work I drop my trousers, wink and say Makeebabee and she immediately says go and get on yer PC and leave me alone
except when the babysitter is there in which case I get done for carrying an unconcealed babys arm.

that man is bloody funny.
unfortunately Starsk, my missus is 8 months pregnant, so if i give her the nod n wink, she tells me she's too tired, but as I have excess energy she could do with an hour long back massage whilst she discusses prams and cots.
I'm best being quiet and hope she falls asleep without noticing me on the PC

Hmmm, not had much experienced with angry women i assume Darf.
John Wayne Bobbit ring any bells ?
I did try the "at least i'm not down the pub" version, but pregnant women seem to hear even less than normal women.
She's lovely but a little bit scary.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorena_BobbittJohn Wayne Bobbitt and Lorena Leonor Bobbitt were an American couple, married on June 18, 1989, known for a 1993 incident in which Lorena severed John's penis with a kitchen knife.
