Call of Duty World War 2

Hi all, my son have started talking about the New Call of Duty WWII game out the end of the year.
The very first game that got me really started in online gaming was Medal of Honor allied assault, I remember becoming interested as a guy was explaining they had someone from the military in to make the game mechanics / Play as real as they possibly could make it
My son Garon has explained they are doing similar in this new game and trying the make it as detailed as they possibly can.

I've been waiting for this game since the last W@W, long long overdue. Just hope Activision don't do with it what they did to the last umpteen COD's. Last COD I played was Black Ops, I've seen my son playing some of the others and they looked dire. Really hopeful for this game though, if its anything like the original it'll be awesome.

I played a few rounds, unfortunately the game gets a meh from me. Same old same old I'm afraid, the COD franchise continues to stagnate. There are much better fps games out there with PUBG, Overwatch and BF1/BF4 to name a few.

Yes I agree its pretty much the same old etc but I dont think that`s such a bad thing personally especially being WWII " World at War " was my fav COD game , was nice to run around and get that feel of what it was like playing this type of game! will certainly play some more tomorrow!

It's a shame really I really would like them to refresh the franchise instead of just rehashing it. The last few itterations have bombed on the PC, since the opinion splitting MW2 COD has been a console based fps with a side offering to PC gamers. All those years ago I joined res to play COD 4 (2007!) and 10 years later they still haven't topped it. World at War was a great game too, this can't touch it. Get yourself BF4 cheap online or play BF1 mrix (swear you bought it!) both will give you a gaming boner, trust me

I never played the beta, but some of the reviews I've seen on Steam don't rate it very highly at all. I think it uses a peer to peer system for multiplayer, which if true is shockingly poor.
Brune is right Mrix, BF4 was and is top notch. By far the best game I ever played, better even that BF2, well...maybe. Do you still play it Brune ??
I got me ARMA 3 about 6 months back, that is a serious game. Makes everything else including BF4 look amateur. The attention to detail is mind blowing.
I'm also still playing Rainbow 6 Seige, have some great fun with this. It was plagued a lot by cheats earlier on, but as the game has aged they mostly seemed to have moved on to other things. Has a bit of a COD feel to it, everything is at close range. One of the maps is a 2 bedroom house for instance. Good fun and you could pick it up for a good price now.

Well, at least there's 3 of us still around. I see Captreddog on Facebook sometimes and Alonzo.

Hi Rogue, Not really sure if anyone can be right, as at the end of the day its all really down to personal preference and what floats your boat, really nice looking game for sure but never really appealed to me as by that time I was getting bored with the BF franchise.

Well, is anybody playing it? Whats the verdict? I heard they are using dedicated servers now, instead of hosting on peoples machines. Which was a stupid idea to begin with, makes you wonder what kind of bubble they develop these games in.
I haven't bought it yet, but if there's a few of you playing it I may be tempted. Would be good to catch up with you all and kill you once again. Whats the wifi like in those care homes?
